Who is the Xtreme Team?
Tom Benson - Owner / Operator
Tom has been around agriculture his entire life, having been raised on a farm in the Mission Valley. He has worked in both retail and governmental agronomy positions for over 20 years. Tom started the business in 2006 and has been serving western Montana ever since. Our vast knowledge, expertise and ability to educate homeowners is what separates Xtreme Weed & Pest Solutions from other pest control companies.
Tom and Launa have two daughters and four grandchildren. When not working he enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing and camping.
Launa Benson - Owner / Operator
Launa “The Bug Lady” has been an exterminator full time with Xtreme Weed & Pest Solutions for 4 years. She also shares information about pests to schools and community events.
Launa is passionate about horses and her family. She enjoys working with Tom and loves spending time with her kids and grandbabies.
Launa is very involved in her community and spends many hours voluntering. She is on the Board of Directors for Polson Chamber of Commerce and President of the Board for Mission Valley Animal Shelter.
Brita Lytle, Technician
Brita is a Montana native who likes to spend time with her family. After graduating Polson High School she went on to dental assisting school at SKC. She now runs a butcher shop and ranches with her husband. She has 3 chilren, Ryle 10, Blair 7 and Beau 4.
In her free time she enjoys taking her 3 kids to rodeos and doing leather work.
Haley is a Montana native and has lived in the Mission Valley her entire life. She graduated from Ronan High School in 2015 and Penrose Academy of Cosmetology In Arizona in November 2016. She enjoys the outdoors and her hobbies are hunting, fishing, camping and competing in rodeos. She enjoys spending time with her family.
Erinn Bartels -Technician
Erinn Bartels was born and raised in Roy, WA. She moved to Montana with her boys in April of 2002. They have three kids, twin boys who are 20 years old and an 8 year old daughter. Erinn is married to Justin, who grew up in Ronan and knows just about everyone. He is a critical care paramedic and works for Alert in Kalispell.
Erinn has been an animal lover her whole life and has always been involved with horses, from show to rodeo and now barrel racing, breeding and training her own horses. They also raise Boer goats and enjoy have, little kids bouncing around the pasture. Her future plans include working with the Xtreme Team, farming and competing in many barrel racings.
